Once a month

A few small things, in your inbox

One email a month: a couple of specific things for the situations you pick, whatever is timely right now, and one thing somebody wrote about what happened when they tried it. Assembled from the library rather than written at you.

What are you most likely to need?

Tick any, or none. This is the only thing that decides what is in the email — nothing you do on the site is used, because your address is not connected to any of it.

What this does and does not do

  • Your address is kept apart. It lives in its own table with no connection to anything you have marked as done, no connection to your notes, and no connection to the cookie in your browser. The email cannot know what you have done, by design.
  • Nothing is gated. Every idea on this site is readable and doable without ever giving an address. This page is the only one that asks.
  • No tracking in the email. No pixel, no click wrapping, no way of knowing whether you opened it.
  • One click to stop. Every email carries a link that works immediately and forever, and you can have the address deleted entirely rather than just switched off.
