Take the appointment nobody wants

The 8am slot, the Friday afternoon, the awkward gap. Someone has to take them, and flexibility is a thing you can give away.

Why it lands

Appointment-based businesses — hairdressers, dentists, physios, small garages — lose money on the dead hours and cannot easily fill them. Anyone with a flexible schedule is holding something genuinely valuable and usually spends it on their own convenience without noticing. Choosing the unpopular slot costs a person with flexibility almost nothing and is worth real money to a small business.

How

Ask directly: “When's your quietest time? I can come then.” Small independents will tell you honestly. Book it, turn up, and keep taking that slot — the value is in being reliable in the dead hour, not in doing it once.

Nobody has marked this one yet. You could be the first.
