Why it lands
Dropped curbs are not a convenience, they are the only place a wheelchair, a mobility scooter or a pushchair can get on and off a pavement. Blocking one does not cause a detour; it can end a journey, because the next one may be hundreds of metres away and there is no way to know that from inside a car. Most people blocking them have simply never understood what the dip is for.
How
Look for the lowered section and the tactile paving and leave the whole of it clear, not most of it. The same applies to leaving bins, e-scooters and A-boards there. If you see a car blocking one, a note is more effective than a confrontation.
