Knock, rather than posting a leaflet

Leaflets reach people who are already connected. The person most worth inviting needs someone at the door.

Why it lands

Community events are advertised through channels that select for existing participation — the group chat, the noticeboard, the school gate. Someone who is isolated is by definition outside all of them, and a leaflet through the door is easy to read as not really meaning you. A knock and a direct invitation from a named person is a different proposition entirely.

How

Knock, introduce yourself, and invite them personally: “I'm at number 12, we're doing this on Saturday, I'd like you to come.” Offer to call for them on the day, which removes the hardest part — walking in alone.

Nobody has marked this one yet. You could be the first.
