Most useful skills are held by people who do not think of themselves as qualified to teach them.

Why it lands
There is a large gap between what people can do and what anyone will teach, because teaching feels like it requires credentials. Bread, bike repair, basic accounts, swimming, CV writing — all are held by ordinary competent people and all are barriers for somebody else. An informal session from an unqualified enthusiast is more accessible than a course, and usually better attended.
How
Keep it to six people and one specific outcome — “you will leave with a loaf” — rather than a general introduction. Do it in a kitchen or a hall rather than anywhere institutional. Have everyone do it themselves rather than watch you.
