Note-taking, room-booking and diary-wrangling are low-status, high-effort and distributed along depressingly predictable lines that most offices can name their own example of. Volunteering is not just helpful; it is one of the few visible ways to signal that the pattern is not invisible to you, and a senior person doing it changes what the room expects.

Offer before anyone is asked, so it is not a rescue. Circulate the notes yourself afterwards. Do it more than once — a single performance reads as a gesture, and the point is to move the average.
